How do I collect information from you?
I obtain information about you when you use my website, for example, when you contact me about products and services, if you call me to discuss your coaching or consultancy requirements or if we meet in person for the same reason.
If you choose to subscribe to my blog or newsletter, you get the option to unsubscribe at the bottom of all email notifications that are sent with each new post I make. Because you have to give us explicit consent to send these email notifications, I do not need to contact you again to confirm you still wish to continue receiving them.
I also collect information from you when you fill in questionnaires to better understand how you can improve your happiness and reduce stress and I may use this contact information if your answers indicate that you may benefit from a service I offer. All contact details are stored securely.
I also collect information from you when you agree to my contract of work as a client, and any contact details are stored in my accounting platform, Xero, in order for me to maintain an accurate financial record of transactions between you and my business.
Any payments you make to us via BACS, online bank transfer, PayPal or by cheque are also recorded by my bank (HSBC) - I do not control their own data collection and storage policies and security; however, I am happy with their policy at the time of writing this policy. .
